The work doesn’t stop, and neither does our commitment. Fondazione SAFE’s engagement with rescEU-CBRN-DSIM-IT continues at full speed, with a strong focus on training and knowledge transfer. Within the framework of rescEU and the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, and on the occasion of the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, SAFE is delivering dedicated training sessions to multiple stakeholders.

On Monday, February 23, a specific training session was provided to Local Authorities and civil protection volunteers on the European Civil Protection Mechanism and CBRN risks, strengthening preparedness and coordination at the territorial level.

On February 24, SAFE engaged with the next generation of emergency professionals: students of the Emergency Management Master at the University of Verona, providing in-depth insights into how the EU Civil Protection framework operates and how rescEU reinforces Europe’s collective response capacity. This was a valuable opportunity to acquire specific knowledge on CBRN risks and European-level interventions.

This initiative goes beyond a simple showcase: it is a concrete investment in people, skills, and local capabilities, particularly in managing CBRN emergencies, where preparedness, interoperability, and rapid response make all the difference.

Building resilience means working at every level.
