This morning in Verona, as part of the rescEU-CBRN-DSIM-IT activities, the new operational vehicles designed to respond to CBRN risks were presented. The vehicles and mobile laboratories developed through the project are equipped with advanced technologies to support rapid and effective intervention in complex emergency scenarios.
The event was attended by Undersecretary Emanuele Prisco and the Head of the Italian Fire Brigade (Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco), highlighting the importance of innovation and cooperation in strengthening civil protection capabilities.
On this occasion, Fondazione SAFE also showcased its immersive solutions:
- XR Training Vehicle, the mobile unit that brings extended reality tools directly on site;
- Virtual reality scenarios designed to support teams working in CBRN environments.
Through live demonstrations, SAFE demonstrated how immersive technologies can enhance preparedness and operational response in the field.
