NATO School Oberammergau (NSO) at SAFE to implement the “NATO Systems Approach to Training”

SAFE hosted a week of NATO training dedicated to trainers, with the implementation of the “NATO Systems Approach to Training” course.
From April 11-14, 2023, six SAFE Associates and three representatives of Italian MoD participated in the NATO course, which is designed to deepen the ability to analyse and structure a training to achieve specific performance objectives in accordance with NATO standards.
Topics covered included, among others, the NATO Global Programming, needs analysis, formulation of performance objectives as well as techniques to create functional strategies for the training programs at strategic, operational and tactical level.
The course is one of the core courses provided within the NATO Certified Instructor Program (NCIP) aimed at obtaining the qualification of “NATO Certified Trainer“, and confirms the growing collaboration of SAFE with the NATO School Oberammergau and the effort to align the SAFE training offer with NATO standards.
